A New Hope is being recreated entirely in Minecraft

Minecraft player ParadiseDecay is on his way to recreating Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in its entirety inside the world of Minecraft. Using only custom textures – no mods or official downloadable content – he has spent almost four years recreating A New Hope shot for shot and has already completed 1 hour and 22 minutes of footage. The final film, which he expects to finish and release in 2015 for free, will require a 1977 version of A New Hope for dialogue, sound effects, and music, and therefore bypass any copyright infringements.
